Meet Our Wellness Providers

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than 24 years of experience, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are, feel heard, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. My style is straightforward, and down-to-earth, and I’m not afraid to bring a little creativity or playfulness into the therapy room.
I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in community mental health, schools, universities, military settings, and correctional facilities throughout New Mexico. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship and family difficulties, PTSD, and life transitions. I’ve also worked extensively with military families and have supervised clinical teams in both crisis and outpatient settings.
My approach is trauma-informed and flexible because I don’t believe therapy should look the same for everyone. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and EMDR, along with mindfulness, inner child work, art therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. I’m a certified EMDR provider and have additional training in grief, anger management, mindfulness, and creative approaches to therapy.
After more than two decades in this field, what matters most to me is creating a space where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I’d love to meet you where you are and work together from there. I see clients at Life Maps’ East Downtown location and through our secure Telehealth platform.
Change is possible, and I look forward to helping you find your way forward.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, and I truly believe that no one should have to navigate life’s difficult moments alone. I want therapy to feel like a safe, welcoming place where you can be honest about what you’re going through, feel understood, and know that someone is in your corner.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe you already have strengths within you, even if they may be hard to see right now. Together, we can explore what’s getting in the way, understand old patterns, and find new ways to cope, heal, and move forward. I’m here to meet you where you are without judgment and walk alongside you at your own pace.
Over the years, I’ve worked with people in community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, detention centers, early intervention, and psychiatric response teams. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the people I serve and the hope that can emerge even during incredibly difficult seasons of life. I have a particular interest in trauma, relationships, attachment, and helping people heal from experiences that may still be affecting them today.
I draw from approaches including EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Infant Mental Health, along with holistic and integrative approaches to wellness. I tailor therapy to each person because I believe your story, your needs, and your goals should guide our work together.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2005, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston in 2009. I became certified in Infant Mental Health in 2013, deepening my understanding of attachment, connection, and emotional development across the lifespan.
Most importantly, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to listen, support you, and help you discover hope, strength, and new possibilities.
